Dr.  Hernandez is a graduate of the University of the East  (Philippines) with a degree in Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine in year 1977 and 1983, respectively.  She migrated to Canada with her family in 1989 and worked in a dental office.  She passed her National Dental Examining Board in January 1994 and started her practice in Etobicoke in July 1994.

She furthered her career in Dentistry with Continuing Education on Orthodontics, Periodontics, Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry and Implants.  Her Restorative Dentistry knowledge stems from the interrnationally renowned Las Vegas Institute (LVI) and Pankey Institute.

She is a member of various organizations: Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Association of Orthodontics, and holds a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry and International Congress of Oral Implantologist.

 Aside from her passion in dentistry, she also enjoys travelling, reading, interior decorating   and  photography.
